Your account

All account information including login and password credentials is your responsibility to keep up to date and safe while your account is active with us. You accept full responsibility for all actions taken with your account using your username and password. Anyone under the age of 18 can only use softsquare.com with parent or guardian involvement. You cannot open an account or purchase on softsquare.com if you are under the age of 18. Softsquare.com has the right to terminate accounts, refuse service, remove or edit content and cancel orders at their sole discretion without prior notification at any time. Any discrepancies with pricing, availability or quantities can be revised and changed, even after placing an order and may result in cancelled transactions with the correct information at any time without warning.


Order status

Please use your account to view any current orders, get a status of your order or any other information pertaining to your order. Not all information is made available directly on the login page. For any detailed reports, please reach out to softsquare.com via phone or the online request page.


Sales tax

Softsquare.com charges sales tax on all orders that are shipping to Florida as well as items that are picked up locally from our local warehouse. Orders shipping outside of Florida may or may not be charged sales tax depending on your state’s terms regarding online sales. Please check with your state’s current laws regarding purchases on softsquare.com to comply in your state.



Shipping

Shipping is free whenever possible when using standard courier services that can ship directly to a residential or commercial address via standard home delivery or curb-side drop delivery which does not include white glove or threshold delivery and installation. Any large or bulky items that ship via freight may have additional charges that the purchasing client agrees to pay by placing the order. To check if a large item can ship free, please consult softsquare.com before placing an order. White glove deliveries and installations, threshold deliveries or over-sized curb-drop residential deliveries are considered a premium service and can be arranged and quoted before or after placing your order. If you placed an order and it does not qualify for free shipping, you will be contacted by softsquare.com to discuss shipping prices. Delivery estimates are good faith estimates only. Clearance items are sold locally and require either local pickup or Soft Square can provide a white glove delivery service in Southwest Florida for a quoted charge depending on the items sold and distance from our local warehouse. Not all products are available for white glove delivery.


Lead times

All lead times are quoted according to typical production and transit schedules. Due to the nature of production/shipping/logistics, all lead times are approximate and cannot be guaranteed. By placing an order, you agree and understand that unforeseen delays and possible extended lead times may happen. Orders will not qualify for refunds or cancellations due to extended delays of any nature. Softsquare.com will not be held liable for and loss, damage, cost or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery.



Returns

Special orders, lighting, not-in-stock items, customs orders, polycarbonate, and clearance items cannot be returned when purchased on softsquare.com. Merchandise that is purchased only on softsquare.com and qualify in advance for returns can be returned within 14 days of delivery if sent back in the unopened, original packaging and using the original receipt. Returns must be preauthorized by calling 941.554.4068 and receiving approval. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Not all items will be authorized for returns and is decided on case-by-case basis by softsquare.com. Refunds will not be issued but only in the case of defective merchandise that we cannot process as a manufacturer’s defect and cannot replace it due under those terms set by the manufacturer. When receiving your product, you take on the responsibility to inspect the items and take photos of any damages of the packaging that clearly shows it was damaged in transit. If photos of the packaging are not taken, claims cannot be processed as transit damages. Any freight shipments that arrive damaged need to follow this same protocol as well as notating in detail the damages on the driver’s Bill of Lading before the driver leaves. Please reach out to us within 2 days to notify us any shipping damages. Any shipping damages that have not been documented and notified to us within 2 days will not be eligible for a claim replacement. All charges to repair or replace those items as well as shipping fees will be at the expense of the purchasing client.


Final sales

Clearance, floor samples and final sale products are all sold as-is and are not returnable. No exceptions will be made. A full non-refundable payment is required when purchasing clearance items or floor samples and a refund will not be honored for any reason after placing your order.



Order cancellation

Orders requested to be cancelled 24 hours after the order is placed will incur a 20% cancellation and restocking fee in addition to all shipping or processing fees incurred that will be owed by the purchasing client. Not all cancellations will be authorized.



Changes to terms and conditions and to site

Softsquare.com reserves the right to modify, change or rewrite the terms and conditions and policies written herein at any time with or without notification.



User warranties

In placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are providing accurate, true, and complete information, and that you have the authority to place the order. 


Disclaimer of warranties

By using softsquare.com you understand and agree that any use of this site is at your sole risk and this site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” condition. Softsquare.com makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site of the information, content, materials or products listed on this site.



Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soft Square and softsquare.com and its officers, directors, employees and suppliers, from any claim, demand, action or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made or incurred by any third party arising out of or related to your use of this site. 


Termination

We reserve the right at any time to terminate your account, cancel your order or reroute any shipments and restrict your use of this site if we have reason to believe you have violated any of these terms and conditions, providing us with false information or if you do not agree with any part of our policies at Soft Square or softsquare.com.
