Design George Nelson, 1947
Made in USA by Herman miller
It was in 1947 that George Nelson became inspired by a self webbing material used to moth-ball ships in New York and he convinced himself it would be perfect for lighting. Each lamp includes a 5.25" dia. brushed, nickel-plated steel ceiling plate and six feet of white lamp cord (please note the extra large saucer includes 9-feet of white cord).
