The design of the Maxim table-sculpture draws inspiration from the seamless connection between its three-petal form and the material it's crafted from. Much like how a master sculptor breathes life into raw material, this round table design highlights the dedication and time artisans invest in its creation.

The table's origins lie in traditional craftsmanship, employing a cold molding technique that avoids the use of energy resources. Industrial methods are used only to complement the artisan's work during the cement pouring and finishing stages. The base of this modern table is elegantly finished in clay, showcasing earthy and natural tones.

Maxim is available in two styles: a round table with a transparent glass top that fully reveals its sculptural base, and the Maxim Argile version, which is entirely coated in clay for a more organic look. Designers Pio and Tito Toso note, “When the material stands on its own, without superstructures or additions, we achieve a pure and direct object that is already a finished product.”
